To the Moon and Back...

It all started with the simple phrase, "I love you to the moon and back". My friend and photographer Paloma Lisa had this genius idea of doing a celestial styled wedding shoot, with a nod to the Art Deco movement. As soon as I got her text asking if I was on board, it was an obvious ummm YES! I had seen moon phases and celestial detailing beginning to pop up all over and knew this would hit the mark. My extremely talented friend Brittan was also part of the magic. I love Brittan's eye and she knows her stuff. She helped style and DIY.

I created a save the date, invitation, response card, menu, food labels and name tags. The entire suite is available at my Etsy shop. This invitation suite was created for the artists and dreamers alike. Filled with celestial details, watercolor splashes and rad calligraphy, this ethereal wedding suite won't be seen at anyone else's wedding.

Seriously this project was so fun, it was kinda surreal. We scored an amazing location in Elfin Forest, thanks to my friend Zanni, whose parents own property out there. It was the first styled shoot I've ever been a part of and I was stoked to see how these photos shot by Paloma turned out. The shoot got featured on the RAD blog Love and Lavender. It was the icing on the cake.

Collaboration is an amazing process. Seeing extremely talented creatives come together and brainstorm is kinda like magic. None of this could have been done without this team.

What's Up

How's life on your end?  Lately mine has been filling up with lots of personal and client projects.  I'm always working on adding more to the shop.  Check out these pretty menus for starters!  Designed with watercolor splashes, decorative ornaments, celestial details and quirky calligraphy, these menus definitely won't be seen at anyone else's wedding!!  I've come to the realization that I really love styling paper products with fresh florals.

Keep checking my shop for the latest in invitations, paper goods and whimsical stamps.

I'm 100% a Pinterest girl.  My whole life I have been saving images from magazines, online, restaurants, you name it.  The problem was that there was always a lack of organization.  The reason I love Pinterest is it's all my inspiration... in. one. place. Ahhh! Love it.  These are my favorite pins this week.  You can view more of my pins this week here.
